We Believe

The following is a brief summary of the beliefs of Rosemont Baptist Church. If you are interested in learning more, please contact our office.

The Word of God

The Bible is the Word of God, written under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, and it has the principles by which God judges us.

The Church

The Church is a living spiritual body of which Christ is the head and all regenerated persons are members. God has laid upon the members of the Church the primary task of sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ with a lost world.

The Trinity

There is one living and true God, eternally existing in three persons who are equal in every divine perfection and they execute distinct but harmonious functions.

God the Father

God the Father is an infinite, personal spirit, perfect in holiness, wisdom, power, and love. He infallibly foreknows all that shall come to pass, He concerns Himself in the affairs of every person, He hears and answers prayer, and He saves from sin and death all who come to Him through Jesus Christ.

Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ is God's only begotten Son, conceived by the Holy Spirit. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, performed miracles, and taught authoritatively. We affirm his substitutionary atoning death, bodily resurrection, ascension into heaven, perpetual intercession for his people, and personal visible return to earth.

The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit came forth from the Father and Son to convict the world of sin, to bring righteousness and judgment, and to regenerate, sanctify, and empower all who believe in Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit dwells within every believer in Christ. He is an abiding helper, teacher, and guide.
