Missions

Since serving others (locally and across the world) is important to the heart of God, it is also important to the heart of Rosemont.

We strive to offer several different mission opportunities around Lexington, around Kentucky, and around the world. Check below for a list of missions opportunities, and check back regularly for updates!

Ongoing

Thrifty Needles Quilting Group - Meets every Wednesday at 10:30am making quilts for church and other projects. Makes visits to nursing homes and hospitals.

Love in Action - Meets 1st Tuesday of each month, mission group has study and prayer with mission emphasis.

Seasonal

Jessie Clark Middle School​ - Rosemont has partnered with JCMS to provide food for students who are in need and may not have a meal at home.

Lafayette High School - Since the 2017 season, Rosemont has prepared the pregame meal before select games for the Lafayette High School Generals football team.

June 15-26, 2018

Sistarovat, Romania - Rosemont sent a group of 7 adults to rural Romania to assist in the programming and maintenance of a children's camp.

April 2-7, 2018

Washington, DC - For the second year in a row, our students gave up their Spring Break to serve the homeless in Washington, DC. This year Rosemont sent 8 students and 5 adults.

February 17, 2018

The Hope Center and Lexington Rescue Mission - During their DNOW weekend retreat, our students served at these two local organizations focusing on Lexington's homeless population.

October 9-13, 2017

Santa Fe, TX - Rosemont sent a group of 8 to Santa Fe, Texas to help with the cleanup in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey.

April 2-6, 2017

Washington, DC - 9 students from Rosemont spent their Spring Break serving the homeless in our nation's capital.

2013

For the third consecutive summer, a team from Rosemont served at an orphanage in Monterrey, Mexico.
