Rosemont supports Mission work globally. In Mexico there is a gigantic need for orphan care and orphan support. There are over 148 million orphans in the world. The Bible mandates in both the Old and New Testaments orphan and widow care.
““ You shall not pervert the justice due to the sojourner or to the fatherless, woror take a widow’s garment in pledge, but you shall remember that you were a slave in Egypt and the LORD your God redeemed you from there; therefore I command you to do this.
“When you reap your harvest in your field and forget a sheaf in the field, you shall not go back to get it. It shall be for the sojourner, the fatherless, and the widow, that the LORD your God may bless you in all the work of your hands.”
(Deuteronomy 24:17–19 ESV)
“If anyone thinks he is religious and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his heart, this person’s religion is worthless. Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world.”
(James 1:26–27 ESV)
Because "reaching others for the Kingdom (of God)" is part of Rosemont's mission statement, orphan care and mission work have been identified as key components to reaching others.
