Who is Jesus?

If you do not know about Jesus or if you want to see what we believe to be the core truth of our faith please read below.

Admit there is a gap between God and us created by our sin. The Bible tells us in Romans 3:23 that "all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." This means there is a gap between God and us. The bridge to that gap came to earth over 2000 years ago as God's son, Jesus. He was fully human and fully God. He lived without sin. Romans 5:9 tells us that, "He who knew no sin became sin for us." Jesus became our sin when He was crucified on a cross. Three days later he was raised from the dead, 40 days later He ascended back into Heaven, and is seated at God's right hand. Jesus' death and resurrection provides a bridge to the gap that sin creates between God and us. The first step in knowing Jesus is admitting there is sin in our lives that separates us from God.

Believe in your heart that Jesus, God's Son, died on the cross for your sin. Believe that Jesus can save anyone because of His death and resurrection. "Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God" (John 1:12).

Confess with your mouth that Jesus is genuinely your Lord and Savior AND GET THIS...Jesus, through the work of the Holy Spirit, will live in your heart, begin changing and enriching your life to be more like Jesus', and you will spend the rest of your life in an intimate relationship with God. "That if you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved'" (Romans 10:13).
